This 2007 Martin OM “Negative” is a reverse-colored guitar with an Engelmann Spruce top and Rosewood back and sides. The white peghead overlay has the “Martin & Co.” decal at the top, and an elaborate abalone flower flourish inlayed in the center. Nickel tuners with Ebony buttons. Black nut. The white micarta fingerboard has abalone snowflake inlays and white side dot position markers on the bass side of the black fingerboard binding. Black heelcap. The white Micarta bridge has a black saddle and black plastic pins with abalone dots.
The black gloss Engelmann Spruce top has a white micarta pickguard, a “style 45” abalone soundhole rosette, and herringbone purfling before the black binding. The Rosewood back has a “zipper” back strip down the center and black binding. Black endwedge.
